Cuba Promotes Natural Medicine |

Havana.- The healthcare system in eastern Camagüey province is promoting the use of products based on natural and traditional medicine.
Generally, these products are used in outpatient services of stomatology, emergencies at polyclinics and family doctor's offices, as well as with patients who have been discharged from hospital.
That way, natural therapies are integrated into the promotion, prevention and treatment of diseases and rehabilitation.
In addition, a clinical-pharmaceutical center that specializes in homeopathy operates in the province and produces nearly 150 medications.
The national program to develop and generalize Natural and Traditional Medicine entails an action plan that consists of six components, including medical care as the most essential element.
