Authorities Define Locations of New Hotels in Havana
Monday, December 11, 2017

Havana.- Authorities in the Cuban capital have defined the new locations to build hotels in the city, in order to guarantee an appropriate response to the increasing demand for accommodation.

According to experts, nine projects will be carried out in Havana, where the group Cubanacán is negotiating the construction of a hotel with a Vietnamese company.

The objective is to build a hotel in the land formerly occupied by the Pedro Borras Children's Hospital, in El Vedado, in Plaza de la Revolucion municipality.

In addition, a Chinese company is assessing the construction of a hotel in a parcel on 23rd Street and H Street, also in El Vedado.

At present, Havana, Cuba's major point of arrival for foreign tourists, offers 12,115 rooms in 64 hotels, and 11,552 rooms in private houses.
