Nicosia.- Qatar Airways officially ordered 50 A321neo ACF planes from Airbus, an action that consolidates the company's operations.

The new planes will join the fleet of 50 A320neo aircrafts that will be delivered in 2019 to support the continuous development of the company's global network of routes.

According to experts, the total value of the deal is 6.35 billion dollars at market price.

Qatar Airways has a fleet of more than 200 planes that fly to several destinations in all continents.

During the rest of 2017 and next year, the airline plans to add new destinations, including Canberra, in Australia, and Chiang Mai, in Thailand, among others.
