Cuban Cyclists to Compete in International Races

Havana.- Cuban cyclists will compete in the tours of Táchira, Venezuela, and San Juan, Argentina, as part of their training for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia, this year.

The team that will compete in Venezuela is made up of Yasmani Balmaceda, Frank Sosa, Jan Carlos Arias, Alejandro Carriles, Javier Revilla and Joel Solanzal.

A team made up of Pedro Portuondo, Félix Nodarse, Cristian Pérez, Alejandro Parra, Leandro Marcos and Hidalgo Vera will participate in the Tour of San Juan.

Adonis Cardoso will head the technical team, which will also include the mechanic José Manuel Valdés and the physician Javier Delgado.

These events will allow the Cuban cyclists to practice and gain experience before the regional games in Colombia.
