Cutting-Edge Technology to Produce Coffee in Cuba |

Havana.- Cuba's coffee industry has benefited from the introduction of new technologies to improve quality during the processing of the beans.
The state-of-the-art technology is being used in eastern Santiago de Cuba province, where two laboratories to process and taste coffee were enlarged, remodeled and modernized.
Moreover, an electronic selector and two density-measuring tables were installed at the Rolando Ayud Processing Plant, in Contramaestre municipality.
Coffee production also benefits from higher sale prices for peasants, more availability of resources and the return of families to the mountains to work in coffee crops.
