Havana.- The 5th edition of the National Road Cycling Classic in Cuba will be attended by a dozen teams from the country and several foreigners.
The start of the race will be in the Cuban town of Baracoa, with a first stage of a 153-kilometer route to Guantánamo.
The route will have a flying finish line that includes a mountain prize, in Alto de Cotilla, the highest point in La Farola viaduct, and the others will be in the municipalities of Imías and San Antonio del Sur.
This cycling event is divided into 11 stages totaling 349 kilometers.
Along with representations from all 15 Cuban provinces, teams from the Netherlands, Canada and Ethiopia have confirmed participation in the competition so far.
