Havana.- The benefits of information technology have reached Cuban pharmacies, where services have been computerized in the eastern province of Camagüey.
The integral management system that will be implemented in the project was created by members of the private company ORSIS-Tecnología Integral.
The program integrates all the information related to the reception of medications in the warehouse, exit for the areas and production of medicines in the dispensary.
In addition, there is the control of the expiration dates of the drugs for their commercialization, as well as the access to the information, summaries by shifts of work and inventories.
Taking into account the stock, the system will also facilitate ordering medications semi-automatically to Empresa Comercializadora y Distribuidora de Medicamentos.
