Cuban Plant Increases Production of Fertilizers |

Havana.- The fertilizer factory in Matanzas, in western Cuba, produced 59,400 tons of mixed fertilizers in 2017.
This volume shows the importance of meeting the demand for the agricultural sector and the need to increase crop yields such as grains and potatoes.
Production of this kind of fertilizer is a variant of physical mixtures to make base formulas using semi-finished raw materials, with the additional benefit of not damaging the environment.
The equipment and components of the plant are completely Cuban made, and the roofs of several warehouses was repaired to preserve the product.
In addition, factory executives are weighing the options to increase supplies, as a conveyor system is required to facilitate the transportation of the raw materials to different areas of the plant.
