Cuban Center Promote Research |

Havana.- The University of Havana and the BioCubaFarma group signed an agreement to development a joint laboratory in the area of chemical synthesis.
The projects will generate value for the Cuban company and will also benefit the university to continue promoting research.
The objective of the laboratory is to share knowledge to meet the demands from the pharmaceutical industry and the national health system.
It is worth mentioning that one-of-a-kind vaccine in the world against Haemophilus influenzae and obtained through chemical synthesis was developed at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Havana.
The coordinating body of this project is the CIDEM, an institution dedicated to research and development of generic medicines, natural products, advanced technologies and diagnostic kits.
