Havana.- The Ocean Varadero El Patriarca Hotel, in Cuba's major coastal resort, was acknowledged for its excellent management.
The facility, owned by the Gaviota group and under administration by the H10 Hotels consortium, won one of the Quality Awards granted by the Ministry of Construction in the Project-Works category.
Construction of the establishment was carried out by the French company Bouygues Batiment International, and combines modernity and sustainability.
The center is in the Varahicacos Ecological Reserve and its area holds El Patriarca, a giant climbing cactus that more than 20 feet tall and which is presumed to be more than 500 years old.
In 2013, the hotel received the Certificate of Excellence granted TripAdvisor, the world's largest website specialized in travel and tourism, in addition to winning 2014 the Holidaycheck Award.
