Meeting of Ballet Academies in Havana |

Havana.- The Cuban capital will host the 24th edition of the International Meeting of Ballet Teaching Academies, which will develop a broad agenda of events.
According to organizers, the program also includes the 2nd International Choreographic Contest (a biennial event), the 5th Contest for Children and the 5th edition of the Young Critics Contest.
On this occasion, the opening includes a gala dedicated to the centenary of the choreographer, dancer and maître of the National Ballet of Cuba Alberto Alonso.
The meeting will consist of workshops and master classes given by prestigious specialists, while the jury of both competitions will be headed by Ramona de Saá Bello and the choreographer Alberto Méndez.
The meeting will gather representatives of ballet academies from Spain, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Canada and the United States and, for the first time, Puerto Rico, with an extensive delegation.
