Hotels of High Cultural Value Remodeled in Santiago de Cuba |

Havana.- Authorities in the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba have taken actions to rescue hotels with high cultural value on the territory.
The works include the remodeling of the Rex Hotel, in one of the corners of the emblematic Plaza de Marte (Arm's Square).
As part of the process, several buildings in this area are being remodeled due to their deterioration in construction, in order to restore the splendor in a privileged area along the Paseo Maritimo (Maritime Promenade).
In addition, the Enramadas Hotel, in that Patrimonial Corridor, will also benefit from renovation works, as well as the Deportes Hotel and facilities linked to maritime activities.
The project also involves the Santiago Recreation Center, which is considered a building of notable architectural codes in the neighborhood of Vista Alegre.
