Havana.- The canning factory in Majagua, in the eastern Cuban province of Ciego de Avila, is benefiting from a program to modernize its technology to improve the quality of its products.
Fruit and vegetable juices and sauces from tomato are part of the offers of the plant, where modern Chinese-made equipment is being installed.
The technology includes an aseptic line with 30 percent concentration of mango, guava and tomato juices.
It also includes a system to make and fill the product from the pulps, known as Doy Pack, in bags of half a kilogram, one kilogram and three kilograms, whose assembly is at 80 percent of completion.
The productive capacity of this technology in a day is about 300 tons of tomato, about 150 of mango and 100 of guava.
