Madrid.- The Moroccan market will have a greater presence of the Barceló Hotel Group, which will open five hotels by late 2018.
The company expects to add two establishments in Tangier and Agadir, in order to reach 888 rooms in that tourist market.
The agreement will allow the group to take over the management of the four-star hotels Almohades Tanger and Almohades Agadir, which offer 138 and 321 rooms, respectively.
Once reformed to adapt them to the quality parameters of the company, they will operate under the names of Barceló Tanger and Allegro Agadir.
The Spanish company already has the Barceló Casablanca, which was renovated recently, the Barceló Fes Medina, inaugurated in 2011, and the Barceló Anfa Casablanca will open soon.
As an example, the Allegro Agadir will offer 321 rooms, swimming pools, minigolf, tennis and basketball courts and shops, among other facilities.
