New Rules in Favor of Foreign Investments in Cuba |

Havana.- Cuban authorities made modifications to the rules that support foreign investments in the country with a view to streamlining processes.
According to analysts, among the main modifications are fewer requirements for investors to present the evaluation and approval, including a technical prefeasibility study.
The purpose of these steps is to remove obstacles and make the process of presenting the file easier, which will be reviewed by a commission composed of 16 institutions or organizations.
In addition, the consultants (national and foreign) can know first-hand the process of economic evaluation of the projects and incorporate specific indicators.
This facilitates the previous studies of potential investors to guarantee the possibility of speeding up the procedures prior to the approval of the projects.
