Havana.- The city of Holguín, in the eastern Cuban province of the same name, offers the services of a Natural Products Pharmacy known as Dispensarial.
The center markets a wide range of natural medicines to the population, as part of a program to support health projects on the territory.
Located in the historic heart of the city, the pharmacy offers a variety of creams, tinctures and syrups to improve several ailments, including migraine, flu and joint pain.
These products are an alternative treatment to industrial medicines and benefit patients with chronic non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure or diabetes mellitus.
Natural and traditional medicine was recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) in the 1980s and is used to treat more than 500 diseases.
