Health Services for Children in Cienfuegos |

Havana.- The central Cuban province of Cienfuegos has a special camp in the summer to provide health care to diabetic and asthmatic children.
The facility is located in the Ciego Montero Medicinal Spa, where children over five years of age are incorporated into in society and are taught to control chronic non-communicable diseases.
For this purpose, a multidisciplinary medical team, including primary doctors, pediatricians, endocrinologists, respiratory specialists, psychologists, nurses and dieticians, work in the center.
Experts emphasized that access to treatment is free for patients, since the costs are paid by the Ministry of Public Health.
In general, children who have difficulties in learning how to manage their disease, lack of control over their ailments or live in a non-favoring family environment, have access to the camp.
