International Award for Outstanding Cuban Musicians |

Havana.- The Latin Music Institute (LMI) agreed to name the Cuban musicians Adalberto Alvarez, Edesio Alejandro and César "Pupy" Pedroso the title of Cultural Ambassadors of that institution.
LMI executives from Mexico and the United States will deliver the corresponding awards to the Cuban professionals, who are recognized as masters in their particular musical genres and have developed their international careers for decades, with acknowledgements like Oscar and Grammy awards.
It is worth mentioning that this acknowledgement is granted to personalities with extensive creative work and who defend Ibero-American cultural values.
It is the first time that the LMI grants these distinctions in Cuba and in 2019, other artists and art promoters will join these three artists due to their successful and extensive careers.
