LABEX's Contribution to Cuban Health Highlighted |

Havana.- The Laboratory of Antibodies and Experimental Biomodels (LABEX), in eastern Cuba, stands out for its contribution of various inputs to the country's health system.
The center, experts said, is the only one that produces diagnostics kits and hemoclassifiers in the country, which are used to detect several diseases.
Its products are aimed at the integral improvement of the health of Cubans and the generation of goods and services for export, as a result of the country's scientific-technical development.
The institution manages a portfolio of products that meet the country's needs for microbiological qualification and diseases that affect the autoimmune system.
In addition, 18 diagnostic products and therapies to fight cancer and other diseases are in stages of registration up to 2020.
