Facilities of Cuban Hospital Recovered |

Havana.- The facilities of the Gustavo Aldereguía Hospital, in the central Cuban province of Cienfuegos, were recovered totally after being destroyed by a fire.
The incident, which occurred on July 15, damaged 24 areas and three of the hospital's five floors, in addition to 85 pieces of medical equipment.
Several companies were involved in the repairs, including Micalum, Copextel and Electromedicine.
The fire damaged the areas devoted to welfare and social work, ozone therapy, stomatology, maxillofacial, assisted reproduction, endocrinology and the sleep clinic.
In addition to the rehabilitation of the premises, all 85 pieces of medical equipment affected by the fire, including laparoscopy towers, endoscopy, ultrasound and microscopes, are already in operation.
