Preparations under way to build Megahotel in Havana |

Havana.- Specialized forces are executing the first stage of the construction of the tallest hotel in Havana, which will be built in the neighborhood of El Vedado.
Over the past few weeks, perimeter fences were placed in the area where the establishment will be constructed, and ground-breaking works started.
Signs were also placed to indicate the actions to be carried out in order to maintain order and road safety, together with the transfer of bus stops in the area.
Starting in September, the basement and access areas will be built for 13 months, and the rest of the building will be constructed in two and a half years.
The five-star hotel will have 42 stories and will offer 565 rooms, and will exceed in height, with approximately 154 meters, the nearby Tryp Habana Libre Hotel.
