Cuban Basketball Join Foreign Clubs

Havana.- Nine Cuban basketball players have been signed by international clubs, as part of the development strategy of the discipline.

The most recent inclusion in the list were Marlon Díaz and Michel Rodríguez, who signed to perform in the U-23 league of Club Unión de Colón (Argentina).

According to specialists, this project will allow the development of a group of young athletes in youth categories, with the possibility of growing from the technical point of view.

The list includes Javier Justiz, in the Tecnyconta of Zaragoza, Spain, while in Argentina itself Karel Guzmán, Jasiel Rivero and Yoanki Mencía remain, and in El Salvador arrived Lisván Valdés and Yamara Amargo.

The challenge for the technicians of that sport in the island is to expand the options of game abroad for women.
