China Qualifies as the World's Largest Tourist-Sending Country |

Beijing.- China currently qualifies as the largest tourist-sending country worldwide, with a figure close to 136 million passengers in 2016.
According to official data, in the last 21 years the so-called Asian giant averaged a 17.6 percent annual increase in that activity of the leisure industry.
It is worth mentioning that in 1995 only five million Chinese were counted in trips abroad for tourism purposes, while from 2013 onwards there was a sustained increase.
The authorities predict a sustained growth in the coming years, reaching 157 million vacationers who will go abroad in 2020.
This conjuncture led the destinations of the entire planet to design proposals capable of satisfying the requirements of Chinese tourists.
