Havana.- The Melia Hotels International chain, with a strong presence in the Cuban market, is promoting the historical and cultural values of Camagüey for tourism.
The Spanish group works in various aspects with a view to commercializing three establishments in the territory, including the Gran Hotel-Hotel Colon Complex and the Hotel Camaguey.
These actions are part of the company's strategy to take advantage of the cultural and historic values of the cities where it operates, including Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba.
In the case of the Camagüey Hotel, it is expected to be included among the rooms that the company markets under the INNSIDE brand, with more modern and elegant standards.
Melia Hotels International has more than 350 establishments in 40 countries, including 34 in Cuba, mainly in sun and beach destinations such as Varadero, Cayo Santa Maria, Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo.
