Favorable Signs in World Cruise Industry
Monday, November 5, 2018

New York.- Cruise tourism is going through a favorable situation worldwide, as a result of orders to build 113 specialized ships over the next ten years.

The information was released by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) when accounting for construction orders that are in execution or pending to be initiated in several shipyards.

The total value of these requests is estimated at 58.6 billion euros, and 75 ships were already completed.

In addition, the CLIA considered that in 2018, that tourist modality will move 27.2 million travelers, about two million more compared to last year.

According to experts, there is a decrease in the costs of traveling on cruises, together with the diversification of options and advantages in itineraries.
