Cuban Judokas to Compete in Grand Slam in Japan |

Havana.- Cuba will be present with eight competitors in the Judo Grand Slam in Osaka, Japan, which will bring together judokas from 79 countries.
The Cuban delegation is headed by Idalis Ortiz (+78 kilograms) and Ivan Silva (90 kg), both silver medalists in the World Cup held in Baku in 2018.
The women's team also includes Anaili Dorvigne (57 kg), Maylin del Toro (63 kg) and Kaliema Antomarchi (78 kg).
Meanwhile, the men's group is made up of Alberto Almenares (60 kg), Osniel Solis (66 kg) and Andy Granda (+100 kg).
For the Cuban judokas, the main objective is to add points to the world ranking with a view to qualifying for the Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru, in 2019 and the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, in 2020.
