Havana.- The Cuban Basque pelota team will participate in eight modalities at the Pan-American Games of Lima, Peru, in 2019, qualifying for that regional event.
In the women's contest, Cuba will compete in frontenis, rubber racket and the Peruvian modality.
For their part, the men will compete in rubber and leather racket, individual hand at 36 meters and the so-called Peruvian racket.
Precisely, the two most recent tickets were won in the Peruvian fronton racket, a modality that is played before a wall and without barriers on the sides.
Alejandro Gonzalez Ceballos and Wendy Duran Arroyo won the subtitles and qualified for the continental sports event in Lima next year.
