Tourist Arrivals in Spain Increase |

Madrid.- Spain's tourist destinations reported 73.9 million international visitors in the first 10 months of 2018.
This figure is equivalent to an increase of 0.5 percent compared to the same period last year, while spending by vacationers approached 80 billion euros.
This trend counteracts the negative signals in the market in July, with a drop of 4.9 percent, and August (-1.9 percent).
The United Kingdom remains Spain's major tourist-sending market, with 16.7 million travelers between January and October, followed by France, with more than 10.3 million, and Germany.
Among the destinations, Catalonia remained on the top, with more than 17.1 million visitors, with the Balearic Islands is in the second place (13.5 million), followed by the Canary Islands, with more than 11.3 million.
