Sunrise Airways Increases Presence in Cuba |

Havana.- Airline Sunrise Airways, based in Haiti, began operating a direct commercial flight between Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic, and Cuba.
According to experts, this type of air connection facilitates commercial, tourist and cultural exchanges.
This direct flight to the Cuban capital had been announced in mid-year by the airline, when it was reported that the route will have two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Sunrise Airways also operates flights to the provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Camagüey, and offers tour packages from Santo Domingo to Cuba and vice versa.
The group on the inaugural flight of the route included tour operators and delegates from the sector, as well as the specialized press.
