Stomatology of Excellence in Ciego de Avila |

Havana.- The healthcare system of the eastern Cuban province of Ciego de Avila guaranteed a stomatological service of excellence in 2018, with better equipment and highly qualified professionals.
According to authorities from the sector in the territory, some 600 specialists work in 213 dental units, 78 of which are totally new.
In addition, about 1.152 million consultations were given by four stomatological clinics in the territory, two in the municipality of Ciego de Avila, one in Florencia and one in Moron.
Together with this, 11 annexed services were provided in remote places, where there is an dental chair to attend to people, as part of the Turquino Plan.
Moreover, 13 of 18 prosthetic laboratories planned were operational, so each municipality has one such facility to provide services to the local population.
