Increased Tourist Arrivals in Spanish Destinations |

Madrid.- Spanish destinations received 78.4 million foreign tourists in the first 11 months of 2018, accounting for a year-on-year increase of 0.7 percent.
According to official sources, during that period, the United Kingdom was the main tourist-sending market, with 17.6 million vacationers, followed by Germany and France.
Together with this, tourist authorities reported increases in the arrivals of holidaymakers from the United States, Portugal and Russia.
In terms of destinations, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and the Canary archipelago became, in that order, the most visited Spanish autonomous communities, attracting 44.3 million tourists altogether.
The 78.4 million travelers who arrived until November 2018 spent 84.811 billion euros, 2.8 percent more than the revenues reported in the same period in 2017.
