Havana's Chinatown Remodeled |

Havana.- Havana's Chinatown, which is considered a relevant cultural element in the Cuban capital, will undergo a remodeling process in the coming months.
The actions will benefit several properties in that area, which have a high patrimonial, urban and environmental value.
To this end, multisectoral projects aimed at recovering the area were designed, taking into account the commercial, recreational and tourist impact that it generates.
The plan includes actions to rescue ancient Chinese traditions, including culinary art, ceramics and the typical decoration of its facilities, theaters and others establishments.
In addition, facilities such as the Chinese newspaper Kwong-Wah-Po, dry cleaners and pharmacies with their traditional medicine will be rehabilitated.
