Spain Receives More Than 82 Million Tourists in 2018 |

Madrid.- Spain received 82.6 million foreign visitors in 2018, accounting for an interannual increase of 0.9 percent.
Likewise, vacationers' expenditures reached 89.678 billion euros, which represents a growth of 3.1 percent compared to 2017.
Together with this, the creation in the first 11 months of last year of some 100,000 new jobs stands out, with the consequent positive impact on the labor market.
The affiliates of the sector to Social Security surpassed 2.3 million people, equivalent to 12.2 percent of the total in that indicator in the country.
An allocation of nearly 35 million euros is also expected for promotional campaigns on Spain in the main tourist-sending markets.
