Barcelo Group Expands Presence in Morocco |

Madrid.- The Barcelo Hotel Group will expand its operations in Morocco after the acquisition of the Palmeraie resort in a transaction worth nearly 35 million euros.
The establishment will operate under the name of Barcelo Palmeraie, and it will be a five-star hotel with 252 rooms, which could be complemented by another 120 rooms in a short term.
It is worth mentioning that Barcelo already added three establishments in that country last year.
With this new project, the Barcelo Hotel Group is one of the Spanish hotel chains with the largest presence in Morocco, where it offers 1,336 rooms in six establishments.
Under its management are the Barcelo Anfa Casablanca, Barcelo Casablanca, Barcelo Fes Medina, Barcelo Tangier, Allegro Agadir and the new Barcelo Palmeraie.
