Brazilian Airline Prepares Renewal Program
Monday, February 11, 2019

Rio de Janeiro.- The Brazilian commercial aviation company Azul is working on the execution of a plan to renew its fleet with state-of-the-art aircraft.

According to the modernization schedule, the airline is expected to incorporate 21 planes in 2019 and it will recall 15 EMBRAER 195 aircraft.

The new plan includes 32 Airbus A320 neo planes, six E2s; 48 EMBRAER jets, 33 ATR and 10 A330s aircraft, totaling 129 aircraft in the fleet at the end of the year.

Thus, by the end of 2019, 40 percent of Azul's capacity will consist of new generation planes.

Reports by specialized firms placed the Brazilian airline in 2018 as the third in punctuality in Latin America, with 85.21 percent.
