International Wrestling Contest in Havana |

Havana.- The Cuban capital will host the 52nd edition of the Granma-Cerro Pelado International Wrestling Tournament, with competitions in the freestyle and Greco-Roman modalities.
The Ciudad Deportiva Coliseum will host the event, where competitions will take place in the divisions of 55, 60, 63, 67, 72, 77, 82, 87, 97 and 130 kilograms in the Greco-Roman variant.
According to specialists, the participation of representatives from a dozen nations is expected, while Cuba, as the host, will compete with at least two wrestlers in each of category.
The current edition of the Greco-Roman style contest will not grant points for the world ranking, although experts considered that it would provide the necessary practice to competitors.
In the case of the Cuban wrestlers, that tournament will be an excellent opportunity with a view to major international commitments, including the Pan-American Games in Lima and the World Championship in Astana.
