Cuban Chess Players to Complete Preparation in Mexico |

Havana.- Cuba's best female chess players will complete a training base at the Autonomous University of Yucatan, in Mexico, where they will also compete in several events.
The list of Cuban players includes national champion Oleiny Linares, as well as Maritza Arribas, Yaniet Marrero, Lisandra Ordaz, Yerisbel Miranda and Lisandra Llaudy.
In a first contest based on the Scheveningen system, they will play against International Masters Luis Ibarra and Oscar Sanchez, and FIDE Masters Julio Diaz, Gonzalo Navarrete and Sion Galaviz.
The schedule also includes simultaneous sessions with talented children from different locations and joint training, as well as a Blitz tournament.
Mexican International Masters Lilia Ivonne Fuentes and Claudinelly Ancheyta will also compete in the Blitz tournament (3 minutes plus two bonus seconds).
