Shipping Company MSC Works to Expand Its Fleet
Monday, March 18, 2019

Rome.- The shipping company MSC, which specializes in cruise tourism, is taking steps to guarantee the expansion and modernization of its fleet.

In that regard, the company ordered four cruises to the Fincantieri shipyards, as part of a transaction of nearly two billion euros.

The first of the four ships will be delivered in the spring of 2023 and the three other vessels will be delivered one every year until 2026.

Each boat will offer 481 suites, in addition to be equipped with the most innovative maritime and environmental technologies.

Since the firm started working with Fincantieri in 2014, MSC has ordered four ships for its current MSC Cruises brand, for a total 3.2 billion euros, of which the MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview are already operational.
