Producciones Abdala Stands Out in Cuban Culture |

Havana.- The company Producciones Abdala, which is among Cuba's major record labels, stands out for its work in favor of Cuban culture.
The institution has, among its functions, the preservation of the country's sound heritage through the restoration cabinet, created to preserve the historic memory.
According to experts, thanks to this service, some 4,000 tapes were recovered from the stations CMBF Radio National Musical, Radio Rebelde and Radio Havana Cuba, as well as from the Alejo Carpentier Foundation and the Institute of Cuban History.
As part of the process, when the supports are received, they are cleaned thoroughly and the files are free of any contamination to digitize them and detect any physical defects.
The works are recorded through photography and scanning of the documentation of each matrix, before and after the physical cleaning and restoration.
