Nature Tourism in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- Nature tourism is gaining ground in eastern Cuba, where the short-term program in Holguin province stands out.
This plan envisages the renewal and expansion of the existing tourism products from 16 to 28 in the nature, adventure and rural modalities by late 2020.
In addition, the lodging infrastructure for specialized ecological tourism will be strengthened.
In addition to this, the objectives include the exploitation of the interior keys of the Bay of Banes and the study of nature, adventure and rural options in the Pico Cristal National Park.
The province currently has 16 nature products, 11 of which are trails and routes, distributed in the municipalities of Rafael Freyre, Mayari and Gibara, as well as five adventure aerial sports.
