Brazilian Aircraft Maker Embraer to Build Ecological Plane |

Rio de Janeiro.- The Brazilian aeronautical manufacturer Embraer is working on the design and production of an aircraft that will be fully powered by electricity.
The plane, called eVTOL, will perform vertical takeoffs and landings and will provide a passenger with transportation service in an urban environment.
According to specialists, the aircraft is presented as a solution to urban mobility, which in the future may ease traffic in large cities.
Experts noted that this type of plane will contribute to reducing the high levels of pollution left by fuels in air transportation.
The Slovenian company Pipistrel has already built a two-seater electric aircraft, which was acquired by Norway, while Boeing, Siemens and Airbus are interested in that option.
