Havana.- Cuba received two million international tourists from January to date.
Industry authorities indicated that this number of foreign vacationers was reached 12 days in advance compared to the same period in 2018.
This result coincides on this occasion with the holding the 39th International Tourism Fair, FITCuba-2019.
In the first four months of the year, Canada was Cuba's major tourist-sending market, with 624,530 holidaymakers, accounting for an increase of 3 percent, followed by the United States with 257,500 vacationers.
The experts highlighted the positive trend in other markets, including Colombia and Chile, with increases of 25 and 32 percent, respectively.
