Investments for Tourism in Jamaica

Havana.- Jamaica's tourism sector will benefit from investments of nearly 1.5 billion dollars in the next five years that will allow opening 12,000 rooms.

Experts mentioned the case of the Princess Hotels and Resorts chain, which will allocate some 500 million dollars to build a 2,000-room complex.

In addition, H10 Hotel will allot 250 million dollars to the Ocean Coral Spring, its first resort in the country that is under construction and consists of a five-star hotel with 1,000 rooms.

The Amaterra group will invest 500 million dollars to build one of the largest complexes on the island, adding 5,000 new rooms.

The Hard Rock group will build 1,100 rooms in Montego Bay, with an investment of 200 million dollars in the first phase of the development of Karisma and 160 million to construct the Moon Palace.
