Cuban Iron and Steel Company Bets on High Technology |

Havana.- The company Aceros Inoxidables (ACINOX), based in the eastern Cuban province of Las Tunas is working to obtain the category of High Technology Company.
According to specialists, this step is part of a strategy to apply new science, technology and innovation policies.
ACINOX has taken actions to automate steel emptying processes in the bar mill, in order to reduce costs and improve production efficiency.
In addition, it was possible to reduce the number of faults in the emptying machine and therefore favor the production sequence of the steel plant.
The new science, technology and innovation policies range from industrial property, food safety and metrology to the preservation of historic memory.
