Cuban Artists at Montreal Jazz Festival |

Havana.- Renowned Cuban musicians will participate in the 40th edition of the Montreal Jazz Festival, one of the most important events of its kind in the world.
The festival will host 150 concerts at which legendary figures of jazz and blues will participate and will alternate their performances with young talents.
The diva of the Buena Vista Social Club, Omara Portuondo, and the pianists Chucho Valdes and Roberto Fonseca, the latter with the Swiss trumpeter Erik Truffaz, will take represent Cuba at the festival.
Guests include the US guitarist George Benson, the British composer Alan Parsons, the producer Peter Frampton (UK) and the pianist Norah Jones.
Founded in 1980, the event is held every year in July in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and holds the Guinness record for the most significant jazz festival in the world.
