Quality of National Ballet of Cuba Highlighted |

Havana.- Spanish media highlighted the quality of the National Ballet of Cuba (BNC) during the company's tour of several cities in that country.
The Opera World magazine called the first dancer Viengsay Valdes the queen of the swans, regarding her performance in Swan Lake in Teatros del Canal, in Madrid.
Valdes's Odette (the white swan) is lyrical, of serene beauty and its majesty resides in not underlining and in giving the extensions their fair measure.
In Oviedo, the Basque Country and Seville, the audience and the critics hailed the presentations of the Cuban company, and a headline in the newspaper ABC mentioned that the Cuban Cinderella made us dream.
The BNC tour will conclude in Barcelona with Swan Lake and Cinderella, in versions by the Cuban choreographers Alicia Alonso and Pedro Consuegra, respectively.
