New Medical Facility for Children in Cuba |

Havana.- The Pepe Portilla Children's Hospital, in the western Cuban province of Pinar del Rio, will have new facilities to improve children's health.
The hospital's emergency unit will allow a greater concentration of the emergency services in the institution.
The site will have a first level with all medical specialties, including laboratory, ultrasound screening and X-rays, as well as indoor and outdoor areas.
On the second floor, there is a medical boarding school with capacity for 22 beds, distributed into five rooms, bathrooms and a pantry.
The space currently allocated to such services could increase the capacity to hospitalize patients, which totals 293 beds.
