IAG Group Places Millions-worth Order to Boeing
Monday, June 24, 2019

Paris.- The US aeronautical manufacturer Boeing received an order from the IAG group to build 200 B737 MAX planes.

The catalog price of the aircraft is 24 billion dollars, although a discount is expected from Boeing for the units that would go to the fleets of Vueling and Level airlines.

It is the first order of this model of aircraft after the accidents in Ethiopia, which was added to another in October 2018 in the Java Sea.

If the letter of intent becomes a firm contract, the B737-8 and B737-10 models would be delivered between 2023 and 2027 and would be operated by Vueling and Level.

It should be mentioned that the 737 MAX model is Boeing's main aircraft, although it has only delivered 387 of more than 5,000 orders it has received.
