US Airline to Buy Aircraft from Embraer |

Paris.- United Airlines signed a contract with the Brazilian aeronautical manufacturer Embraer to acquire 39 planes of the E175 model.
The order includes 20 aircraft and an option for another 19 units, all in the configuration of 70 seats, for a value of 1.9 billion dollars.
Embraer said that the delivery of the first aircraft could begin in the second quarter of 2020.
Analysts recalled that some 600 planes of the E175 model were ordered in less than seven years by US airlines for the aforementioned market segment.
With these transactions, the manufacturer captures more than 80 percent of all orders in this segment of aircraft with capacity of 70-76 seats in North America.
