Health Tourism in Cuban Leisure Industry |

Havana.- Health tourism stands out among the modalities of greater prospects in the Cuban leisure industry, with a broad infrastructure for the activity.
According to the company Comercializadora de Servicios Medicos Cubanos S.A., there are five specialized clinics, nine international clinics and medical offices in the tourist destinations in Cuba.
In addition, pharmacies and optician's shops provide services to foreign clients in more than 280 programs.
In that regard, specialized healthcare services stand out, as in the case of those aimed at treating cancer, diabetes, neurological disorders, and hearing stomatological problems.
Tourists have the possibility of improving their quality of life thanks to the mineral properties of the water in some regions, such as the provinces of Matanzas, Pinar del Rio, Cienfuegos and Sancti Spiritus.
